General Education Identity

In the past, the University of Hawaii at Manoa General Education Program has not been effectively marketed to students and the UHM community at-large. The program has been perceived as overly complicated, a distraction from the “real work” of the major, a burden to students, a barrier to graduation, etc. The program was looking to inform people of the components of General Education and help them understand the connections between courses and the purpose of these requirements. This process book proposes 3 different logos for their new identity and shows the concepts behind each logo that was presented to them.
